I am completely and irrevocably in love with fall. It is by far my favorite season. The leaves are falling. The air is crisp. There is just a hint of chill and preview of winter, but with a little lingering of summer. The clothes… OHHHH the clothes… I am all over velvet, chunky knits, suede and waffle knits. Those are magical fabrics.
I thought it would be fun to talk to you guys about how I plan on still wearing my favorite color… PINK! without it being too springy. The key to wearing pink all year round is switching up the texture of the item with the season. Enter velvet. Enter chunky knits. Enter suede. There’s just something so luxurious about fall clothing. I love searching for the perfect pair of booties and boots. A lot of people are obsessed with all things pointed toe right now, but they just don’t feel like me! Am I the only one? I always feel like I’m wearing a cowboy boot of sorts? I lean more towards a slightly rounded toe. It feels very vintage to me and I personally think it looks a lot better when it gets cold enough to put tights or leggings underneath whatever you’re wearing.
