We did it! My friends and I are party planning machines as we wrapped up our second soirée this month over the weekend!
Love is in the air people.
I have two besties and myself getting married soon and with weddings come engagement parties, stock the bar parties, bridal showers, bachelorette trips, and then of course the weddings themselves! I still need to share the stock the bar fiesta we threw earlier this month. Throwing multiple parties in one month is a lot of work, but surprisingly gets easier and easier the more you do it. You know what needs to get done, who is good at doing what, and who needs to take the lead.
I'm sharing my top five tips for throwing parties at the end so make sure you jot those down. They are lifesavers!
Look how cute these lovebirds are in their MATCHING luau outfits! This totally made my night and took our luau theme to the next level!
How adorable is this Aloha marquee light sign? I absolutely adore it and the paper garland that the MOH found on Amazon! Also you CANNOT throw a backyard luau without some spray painted gold pineapples! They are so gorgeous and make such a major statement centerpiece for not a lot of moolah.
I could be on a beach somewhere right now... haha After all this wedding planning and party throwing is said and done for me I'm so grateful that T has planned the most romantic beach getaway for our honeymoon! I'll definitely be living the saying on these pretty pink napkins.
Not only am I lucky to have the cutest (Arizona Cardinal loving) love bug, but how darn cute are these ladies! Love my besties and so happy to be meeting more of Samantha's friends and family. I look forward to getting to know them more and having fun celebrating our girl!
Party Throwing Tips FOR BRIDESMAIDS
Are you a bridesmaid? Do you want to make your bride bestie feel like a queen?! Here are my top tips to make her day unforgettable!
ONE: Make/ order her something special like a flower crown! This is one of the easiest ways to say "You're a bridal goddess!"
TWO: Plan your party theme around end of seasons. Every party/craft store will have deep discounts on party supplies so you won't have to make your purse cry, but still have really cute decor for your party. Those hot pink napkins were 59 cents each!
THREE: Do yourself a favor and go to Michael's and buy these two things: Letter stickers and ready made pennants! I cannot tell you how easy this banner is to make and always adds such a great focal point for your party.
FOUR: Use fruit as a center piece! You can leave it as is or add a fun touch by spray painting it! So much cuteness for your dollar.
FIVE: Make sure there are plenty of refreshments and ice. Number one takeaway from these parties is that there is no such thing as TOO MUCH ice! Always grab an extra bag.
BONUS TIP: Do yourself a huge favor and invest in some of these collapsible compact tables! My parents lent me these and they have been crucial to party layout. The smaller of the two is a great drink station while the larger one is a lifesaver when you are serving food and you need a place for guests to be able to sit down and eat. My parents also lent me two collapsible compact benches that go with the larger table that work perfect!
